## Parallel dialing

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How many lines can I dial at once?">
    Up to 5 lines with **AI Parallel Dialing**, on Gold, Enterprise and Enterprise+ seats. New seats
    start with 3 lines. Silver seats dial one line at a time.

    Set your lines in **Dialer** › **Preferences** › **Parallel Dials per Call**. Your admin can set
    a lower maximum for your seat, or turn parallel dialing off. A locked setting says
    **Set by your admin** when you hover it.

    See [Run your first parallel session](/dialer/parallel-dialing).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change the number of lines during a session?">
    Yes. Change **Lines** above the call queue. The new number applies once the calls ringing now
    finish. While **SmartFlow** is on, it picks the number of lines for you and **Lines** is greyed
    out.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will I hear voicemail greetings and ringing?">
    No. You are only connected when a person answers. Voicemail and answering machines get your
    recorded voicemail if **Voicemail Drop** is on, or a hang-up if it is off. Lines that are busy or
    never answer just end. Salesfinity logs all of those calls for you.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if two people answer at the same time?">
    You talk to the first person. The dialer hangs up the other lines in that batch, because you
    can only take one call at a time.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why did the dialer skip some of my contacts?">
    The dialer leaves out people it should not call right now:

    * **Out of work hours.** With **Dial During Work Hours** on, it only calls between 8 AM and 6 PM
      in the contact's own time zone. It is on by default.
    * **Do not call.** Anyone your team logged as **Answered - Do not call again** is never dialed
      again by your team.
    * **Snoozed.** Snoozed contacts come back on the date you picked.
    * **Missing phone numbers.** [Find their numbers](/enrichment/contacts) first.

    The list header counts each group before you start, so you know who will be dialed.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Voicemail and logging

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How do I leave a voicemail without waiting for the beep?">
    Record a voicemail once in **Dialer** › **Preferences** › **Voicemail Drop** › **Manage
    Voicemails**, then switch on **Voicemail Drop** and pick your recording. When a line reaches
    voicemail, Salesfinity waits for the beep and plays it for you, while you keep dialing.

    See [Drop voicemails and log every call](/dialer/voicemail-and-dispositions).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I have to log every call?">
    Only the conversations you had. Calls that reach voicemail, ring out, or hit a busy line are
    logged for you as **Left Voicemail**, **No Answer** or **Cancelled**. For a real conversation,
    pick a **Disposition** in the **Call Outcome** panel. It is the only required field.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I logged the wrong outcome. Can I fix it?">
    Yes. Open the call in **Analytics** › **Call history** and change its disposition. See
    [Find any call in Call history](/calls/call-history).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can AI write my call notes?">
    Yes. In the **Call Outcome** panel, click **Generate** to add an AI summary of the call to your
    note once the transcript is ready. To have it written for every call, turn on
    **Automatic AI Summary** in your dialer preferences. The summary is added below anything you
    already typed. It never replaces your note.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where do I find recordings and transcripts?">
    In **Analytics** › **Call history**. Open a call to play the recording, read the transcript,
    and comment on an exact moment for a teammate. Calls are only recorded when recording is on
    for you. See [Review recordings and transcripts](/calls/recordings-and-transcripts).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Lists and contacts

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How many contacts can I import from a CSV?">
    Up to 4,000 contacts per file. If a file has more rows, only the first 4,000 are imported, so
    split bigger files into several lists.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I upload a list for someone else on my team?">
    Yes, if you are the team owner or an admin. When you upload a CSV, Salesfinity asks
    **Who is this list for?** Pick a teammate and the list shows up in their dialer, ready to call.
    Leave it on yourself to keep the list.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I dial straight from my CRM?">
    Yes. Connect your CRM and import a list, report, sequence or your due call tasks, and every
    call you log goes back to the record it came from. See
    [Connect your CRM and sales tools](/integrations/overview).

    To call from inside Salesforce, HubSpot or any web page, install the
    [Salesfinity Anywhere](/anywhere/overview) Chrome extension.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I filter by who I have not reached yet?">
    Yes. The dialer's filters include **Not reached yet**, **Days since last dial** and
    **All time disposition**. All time disposition is the outcome of the last call the person
    answered, or of the last attempt if they never have. So **All time disposition** set to
    **No Answer** finds everyone you have never reached. Save a filter as a preset to use it again.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Screeners and live help

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How do I get past call screeners?">
    Turn on **Automated Call Screener (Beta)** in your dialer preferences. When a phone's call
    screener asks for your name and reason, Salesfinity plays your recorded introduction. It is
    available on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus seats, and needs **AI Parallel Dialing** on.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I get help while I am on a call?">
    Live Assist <Status kind="coming-soon" /> is not available yet. It is designed to show a short
    line to say when a prospect pushes back. See [Live Assist](/live-assist/overview).

    Today, a manager on the [Salesfloor](/salesfloor/listen-in) can listen to your call and send you
    a private chat message while you talk.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

  Something not working the way these answers say? [Get help from the team](/help/get-help) and
  include the list name and the time of the call.
