# Find your way around Salesfinity

> Learn what lives where in the left sidebar, jump anywhere with Cmd+K, pin what you use most, and set the sidebar up your way.

export const Status = ({kind = "early-access", children}) => {
  const labels = {
    "early-access": "Early access",
    "coming-soon": "Coming soon",
    beta: "Beta"
  };
  const key = labels[kind] ? kind : "early-access";
  return <span className={`sf-status sf-status-${key}`}>{children || labels[key]}</span>;
};

The left sidebar is how you get around Salesfinity. Pages are grouped by the job you are doing:
calling, outreach, records, Ari and insights. You can search for anything with one shortcut, pin
the pages and records you open every day, and hide what you don't use.

You only see what your plan and your team allow. If a page in this guide is missing from your
sidebar, your seat or your team does not include it yet.

## What lives where

From top to bottom, the sidebar shows your team name and notifications, then **Search or jump to…**
and **Ask Ari**, then your pins, then the groups below. **Settings**, **Help & support** and your
account menu sit at the bottom.

| Group | Pages | What you do there |
| - | - | - |
| Your work (no title, always at the top) | **Inbox**, **My tasks** | Read replies to your sequence emails and work through today's calls, emails and to-dos. |
| **Calling** | **Dialer**, **Salesfloor**, **Nurture AI** | Dial your lists, call together with your team, and follow up with people you spoke to. |
| **Outreach** | **Sequences**, **AI Drafts** | Build and run sequences, and review follow-up emails drafted after your calls. |
| **Records** | **People**, **Accounts** | Look up the people and companies you work, with your saved views. |
| **Ari** | **Activity**, **Routines**, **Goals** | See what Ari did and what is waiting on you, set up jobs Ari runs for you, and track your goals. |
| **Insights** | **Analytics**, **AI Training** | Check reports, call history and scorecards, and practice with AI coaching. |

A number next to a page means something is waiting for you, such as unread replies in **Inbox**,
open tasks in **My tasks**, today's follow-ups in **Nurture AI**, or approvals and questions in
**Routines**.

**Analytics** opens its own pages under it while you are there: **Activity Report**,
**Call history**, **Scorecards**, **Connect Rate**, **List Performance**, **Battlecards**,
**SDR Profile**, **SDR Benchmarking** and **Breakdown**. Click the arrow next to **Analytics** to
open or close that list.

<Note>
  <Status kind="early-access" /> **Inbox**, **My tasks**, **Sequences** and **Goals** are part of
  the Sequencer, which is in early access. **People** and **Accounts** also show only for teams
  that have them turned on. See [Sequencer overview](/sequencer/overview).
</Note>

## Jump anywhere with search

Press **Cmd+K** on a Mac or **Ctrl+K** on Windows, or click **Search or jump to…** at the top of
the sidebar. It works on any page, even while you are typing in a box.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open search">
    Press **Cmd+K** (**Ctrl+K** on Windows). With nothing typed, you see every page you can open
    and a few quick actions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type what you are looking for">
    Search finds what you have access to:

    * Pages, including each **Analytics** page
    * **Settings** tabs: **Account**, **Team**, **People**, **Connections** and **Ari**
    * Saved views of **People** and **Accounts**
    * People and accounts, by name (type at least 2 letters)
    * Sequences, routines and goals
    * Actions such as **New sequence**, **Customize sidebar…** and **Collapse sidebar**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the result">
    Use the up and down arrows to move, then press **Enter** to open. Press **Esc** to close
    search without going anywhere.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  On plans with Ari, the first row of search becomes **Ask Ari** as soon as you type. Pressing
  **Enter** right away sends what you typed to Ari as a question. To open a page instead, press the
  down arrow once, then **Enter**.
</Tip>

## Pin what you use most

Pins sit in their own **Pinned** group near the top of the sidebar, so the things you open every
day are one click away. You can pin pages, saved views of people and accounts, sequences, routines
and goals, up to 30 pins in total.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find it in search">
    Press **Cmd+K** (**Ctrl+K** on Windows), or click the **+** next to **Pinned**, and type the
    name of what you want to pin.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pin it">
    Highlight the row and press **Cmd+Enter** (**Ctrl+Enter** on Windows), or click the pin icon at
    the end of the row. Do the same again to unpin it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Put your pins in order">
    Drag a pin up or down to move it. Hover a pin and click **×** to remove it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Your pins are saved to your account, so they follow you to any browser you sign in on. If you lose
access to something you pinned, its pin is hidden.

<Note>
  The **Pinned** group shows up once you have at least one pin. Individual people and accounts
  can't be pinned yet. Pin a saved view of them instead.
</Note>

## Ask Ari from anywhere

Press **Cmd+J** (**Ctrl+J** on Windows), or click **Ask Ari** under the search box, to open Ari.
Press it again to close Ari.

Ari is available on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus seats, and on Admin seats. If your seat does
not include Ari, you won't see **Ask Ari** in the sidebar and the shortcut does nothing. See
[Meet Ari](/ari/overview).

## Set up the sidebar your way

### Hide and reorder groups

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Customize sidebar">
    Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click **Customize sidebar**. You can also
    search for **Customize sidebar…** with **Cmd+K**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose what to show">
    Turn a group's switch off to hide it. Use the up and down arrows to move a group. Every change
    saves right away.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish or start over">
    Click **Done** when you are happy. Click **Reset to default** to show every group again in the
    original order.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Your own group (**Inbox** and **My tasks**) always stays at the top. Hidden pages are still one
search away, and their go-to shortcuts still work.

### Collapse, resize and fold

* **Collapse to icons.** Press **\[** or click the collapse button at the top of the sidebar. The
  sidebar shrinks to a narrow rail of icons. Press **\[** again to bring it back. Hover an icon to
  see its name.
* **Resize.** Drag the right edge of the sidebar to make it wider or narrower. Drag it far enough
  to the left and it collapses to icons.
* **Fold a group.** Click a group's title, such as **Calling**, to fold its pages away. Click it
  again to open it.

These three settings are saved in the browser you are using.

## Go to a page with two keys

Press **G**, let go, then press a letter to open a page. These shortcuts only work for pages you
can open, and they do not fire while you are typing in a box.

| Press | Opens |
| - | - |
| **G** then **I** | Inbox |
| **G** then **T** | My tasks |
| **G** then **D** | Dialer |
| **G** then **F** | Nurture AI |
| **G** then **S** | Sequences |
| **G** then **P** | People |
| **G** then **A** | Accounts |
| **G** then **R** | Routines |
| **G** then **O** | Goals |
| **G** then **N** | Analytics |
| **G** then **,** | Settings |

<Note>
  The Sequencer and the **People** and **Accounts** pages have go-to shortcuts of their own. While
  you are on those pages, their shortcut wins when a letter is used by both. For example, inside
  the Sequencer **G** then **D** opens the do-not-contact list, not the dialer. See
  [Keyboard shortcuts](/keyboard-shortcuts).
</Note>

## See every shortcut

Press **?** on any page to open the list of keyboard shortcuts. It shows the go-to shortcuts for
the pages you can open, plus the shortcuts that work everywhere. **AI Drafts**, **Inbox**, the
Sequencer, **People** and **Accounts** open their own list instead, with the shortcuts for that page.
