# Follow up on today's calls with Ari

> Turn today's conversations into follow-up emails, Nurture AI tasks and CRM updates, and approve each one before it goes anywhere.

At the end of a calling block, ask Ari to go through your conversations. It drafts the emails,
sets up the follow-ups and fills in your CRM, and you approve each change.

The details of a good call fade fast. Following up the same day, with what the person actually
said, keeps the next step alive.

**You will end up with:** a follow-up email drafted from each real conversation, a **Nurture AI**
task for everyone you need to call again, and your CRM updated with the outcome and next step.

**Before you start:** an open Ari chat. Ari is available on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus seats,
and on Admin seats. To send email from Ari, connect your inbox. To update your CRM, connect HubSpot
or Salesforce under **Settings** › **Connections** › **Integrations**.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find the calls worth following up">
    <AiPrompt>
      Which of my calls today were real conversations? List each person, the outcome I logged, and one line on what we talked about.
    </AiPrompt>

    **What you get:** a short table of today's conversations. Ari reads the call summaries and
    transcripts, so the one-line notes come from what was actually said.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Draft the follow-up emails">
    <AiPrompt>
      For each conversation that didn't end in a meeting, draft a short follow-up email from what we talked about. Use my name and keep each under 100 words.
    </AiPrompt>

    **When it stops for you:** Ari drafts in the chat and never sends on its own. To send one from
    your connected inbox, you approve a card that shows the recipient, the subject and the full
    email. Edit anything first by telling Ari what to change.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set up the next calls">
    <AiPrompt>
      Create a Nurture AI follow-up for everyone who asked me to call back, due on the day they asked for.
    </AiPrompt>

    Each follow-up is tied to the call it came from, so whoever picks it up sees the history.
    Depending on your team's settings, Ari may ask you to approve first.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update your CRM">
    <AiPrompt>
      For every call I had today that ended in a meeting, update the contact in \[HubSpot or Salesforce] with the outcome and next step.
    </AiPrompt>

    **When it stops for you:** every CRM change waits for an approval card that shows the exact
    record and fields. Nothing is written until you click **Approve**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Short on time? One prompt can do it all: "Go through my calls today. Draft follow-ups for
  conversations that didn't book, and create a Nurture AI follow-up for every callback." You still
  approve each email before it's sent.
</Tip>

## Prompts to try

<AiPrompt>
  Summarize my last call with \[name] and draft the follow-up email from what we talked about.
</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>
  Which of my follow-ups are overdue? Suggest a next step for each one.
</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>
  Find every follow-up where \[company] came up in the notes.
</AiPrompt>

## You're done when

* Every real conversation from today has a follow-up email drafted or sent.
* Everyone who asked for a callback has a Nurture AI follow-up with a due date.
* Your CRM shows today's meetings with the outcome and next step.
