# Prepare tomorrow's call list with Ari

Ask Ari at the end of the day, and tomorrow's list is ready before your first coffee: callbacks
first, then follow-ups that are due, then new people.

Building the list the night before means your morning starts with dialing, not with
spreadsheets.

**You will end up with:** one or more contact lists in your dialer, built from your own call
history, your Nurture AI follow-ups and, if you want, new people. The one you'll call first is
loaded and ready.

**Before you start:** an open Ari chat. Ari is available on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus seats,
and on Admin seats. Building lists from your own calls and follow-ups is free. Phone and email
lookups for new people cost credits and wait for your approval.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start with the people who asked you to call back">
    These are your warmest calls. Ari can build a list straight from your call history, filtered
    by date and by the outcome you logged.

    <AiPrompt>
      Make a contact list called "Callbacks \[date]" from my calls in the last 7 days where the disposition was Callback Later.
    </AiPrompt>

    **What you get:** a new contact list in your dialer, with a link to open it. Your team's
    outcome names may differ. If Ari isn't sure which one you mean, it asks.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the follow-ups that are due">
    Your **Nurture AI** follow-ups can go straight into the dialer too.

    <AiPrompt>
      Export my Nurture AI follow-ups due tomorrow into a dialer list.
    </AiPrompt>

    **What you get:** a list called "Salesfinity FollowUp Tasks" with a **Start dialing** link.
    Say "my" for your own follow-ups. Managers can say "the team's" to include everyone's.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Catch the conversations that didn't book">
    People who talked to you but didn't book a meeting are worth a second try.

    <AiPrompt>
      Make a contact list called "Second try" from my calls last week that were real conversations but didn't end in a meeting.
    </AiPrompt>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Top up with new people (optional)">
    If the warm lists are short, ask for new prospects and send them to the dialer.

    <AiPrompt>
      Find 40 VPs of Sales at US software companies with 50 to 500 employees. Then look up their mobile numbers.
    </AiPrompt>

    **When it stops for you:** before the phone lookup, Ari shows an approval card with the number
    of people. You spend 1 credit per person where a number is found. Not everyone will have one.
    When the numbers are in, ask Ari to export the list to the dialer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Load the list you'll call first">
    <AiPrompt>
      Load "Callbacks \[date]" in my dialer.
    </AiPrompt>

    The dialer picks it up the next time you open it. If you're in a calling session right now,
    Ari never swaps your list mid-session. The new list loads when the session ends.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Make it a habit

Once the list looks right, ask Ari to do it for you every weekday. Open **Routines**, create a
routine, paste the prompt below, and pick a weekday schedule in the late afternoon.

<AiPrompt>
  Every weekday, make a contact list named "Callbacks" plus today's date from my calls in the last 7 days where the disposition was Callback Later, and export my Nurture AI follow-ups due the next working day into a dialer list. Tell me how many people are on each.
</AiPrompt>

Pick the routine's mode with care. **Read only** reads and reports but can't create lists. Choose
**Ask me first** if you want to approve each list before it's made. See
[Give Ari a standing job](/ari/responsibilities-and-routines).

## Prompts to try

<AiPrompt>
  How many follow-ups do I have due today, and how many are overdue?
</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>
  Which of my lists had the best connect rate this month?
</AiPrompt>

<AiPrompt>
  Merge "Second try" into "Callbacks \[date]".
</AiPrompt>

## You're done when

* Your callbacks and due follow-ups are in the dialer as contact lists.
* The list you'll call first is loaded.
* You know how many people are on each list before you sit down.
