The AI Sequencer runs multi-step outreach inside Salesfinity. A sequence is an ordered set of steps (automatic emails, manual emails, calls and to-dos) that a prospect moves through on a schedule. Emails go out from your team’s connected mailboxes under the rep’s name; call steps land in the rep’s dial list; everything is logged back to your CRM. Because the sequencer shares one record for each person and account with the dialer, a call outcome can change what happens next in a sequence. A “call me in Q4” disposition, a booked meeting or a reply on one channel all feed the same enrollment.
The sequencer is enabled per team. If you do not see Sequencer in the left navigation, ask your account manager to turn it on. Rules of engagement and mailbox settings are managed by team admins; reps can build sequences, enroll people and work their tasks.

How a sequence works

1

Build the sequence

Add steps in order. Each step is an automatic email, a manual email, a call or a to-do, with a wait before it. See Sequences and steps.
2

Enroll people

Add people from a CRM list, from your CRM ownership or call queue, from a Salesfinity contact list, from a CSV, or one at a time. Every enrollment is previewed against your rules of engagement before it goes in. See Enrolling people.
3

The engine works the cadence

Automatic emails send inside the sending window. Manual emails, calls and to-dos become tasks in the rep’s inbox; call tasks also appear in the rep’s dial list. See Tasks.
4

Replies and outcomes steer it

Replies are classified (interested, meeting request, not interested, out of office, wrong person, unsubscribe). Call dispositions and CRM changes are outcomes. Your rules decide what each one does: finish, pause, hand off to another sequence, or stop everyone else at the company. See Replies and auto-send and Rules of engagement.

Where things live

Key terms

  • Enrollment: one person in one sequence. It has a state (pending, active, paused, finished, bounced, opted out, failed), a current step and a next due time.
  • Step: one action in the sequence. Automatic email, manual email, call or task.
  • Task: a step that needs a person. Tasks are the rep’s to-do list and can be completed, skipped, snoozed or reassigned.
  • Rules of engagement: the team policy that decides who may be enrolled and what each outcome does. Every sequence uses the team default unless it is given its own policy.
  • Sending window: the days and hours automatic emails may go out, in the prospect’s timezone or the sequence’s.
  • Suppression: emails, domains and phone numbers that are never enrolled, whether added by hand, imported, or added automatically after an unsubscribe, bounce or complaint.

What the sequencer does not do

  • It does not send LinkedIn messages or SMS on your behalf. Those exist as one-off task types a rep completes by hand; a sequence cannot contain a LinkedIn or SMS step.
  • It never sends an email as anyone other than a connected mailbox on your team. Ari drafts and proposes; sends go out as the rep.
  • It does not create CRM records on push by default. Contacts are matched to existing records; creating missing ones is a setting on the CRM integration.
