Kinds of task
Tasks from a sequence carry the enrollment with them: the prospect, the step, the note and the priority.
One-off tasks are to-dos you create yourself. They can be a call, an email, a to-do, or a channel
the sequencer does not automate: LinkedIn connect, LinkedIn message, LinkedIn view,
LinkedIn interact, meeting, or SMS. Nothing sends for those; they are reminders to do
the thing by hand and they are completed by marking them done. One-off tasks can be created for a
single person or in bulk from a list, a table or a contact profile.
Task states
The difference between skipped, expired and cancelled matters for reporting: only skipped means the
rep chose not to do it.
Snooze, skip, reassign
- Snooze moves the due date. The auto-skip deadline moves with it, so snoozing never hands a task straight to expiry.
- Skip passes on the step and advances the enrollment.
- Reassign hands the task, and for sequence tasks the whole enrollment, to another rep. From then on emails send from the new owner’s mailbox and later tasks land in their inbox.
