Before your first list
1
Open the AI Companion
Open the companion panel from anywhere in the dashboard. Lists you build appear on the
canvas next to the chat as tables, one for companies and one for people, and stay there
between sessions.
2
Connect what you have
The companion only uses sources your team has connected under Settings → Connections &
API. A CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) unlocks the CRM tutorials. Data providers you connect
under Data Providers widen where new accounts and contacts come from; Salesfinity’s own data
network is always available.
3
Know what costs credits
Finding companies and people, adding research columns, and enriching phone numbers or
emails spend credits per row. The companion tells you the row count and shows an approval
card before anything paid runs. Scoring, CRM matching, CRM columns, and filtering an existing
table are free.
How a list gets built
Every list-building conversation follows the same loop, whether you ask for it or not:- Plan. The companion works out whether you want companies or people, which titles and locations you named, and which sources fit.
- Source. It runs the search, keeps everything it found for you to review, and reports how many look on target. If too few do, it refines the query and searches again rather than handing you a thin list.
- Enrich. It adds the free columns that help you judge the list, and offers the paid ones.
- Score. Company lists can be scored against your own history and ICP. People lists rank themselves moments after they land.
- Export. When you say so, a people list becomes a contact list in the dialer.
The tutorials
Build an account list
Describe your ideal company and get a table of accounts to work.
Accounts from signals
Companies that are hiring for a role, running a technology, or showing buying intent.
Score your accounts
Rank a list by your own history, CRM relationship, and ICP fit, then tune the weights.
Check who is already in your CRM
Mark which rows exist in HubSpot or Salesforce and bring the owner and activity alongside.
Re-engage closed-lost accounts
Load closed-lost deals with their loss reasons, find the right people, and dial.
Track job changes
Find who is new in seat, re-check your contacts, and set a routine that watches for moves.
Find contacts at target accounts
Multi-thread every account, pick the buying committee, enrich phones, and export to the dialer.
Build a look-alike list
Turn your best customers into a list of companies that look just like them.
Winning skills
Ready-made skills for the most common list-building plays, written so you can paste them
straight into the Skills tab.
Three habits that make every list better
- Name the level, not just the role. “SDR managers, directors of sales development, and VPs of sales” gets you three threads per account. “SDR manager” gets you one.
- Say where. Location is a real filter for structured sources. Leave it out and you get the world.
- Ask why before you trust a number. Every score and every research column keeps its evidence. “Why is Acme 84?” gets you the arithmetic, not a guess.
