You will end up with: a people list filtered to recent movers, your existing contacts re-checked against their current employer with any conflicts flagged for review, and a routine that repeats the check and reports to your inbox. Before you start: contacts need a LinkedIn URL for a re-check. Routines must be enabled for your team; if the Routines page says it is not, ask your account manager.

Two different questions

  • Who is new in seat? A search filter. “VPs of Sales who started in the last 90 days” is a people search with a job-change window.
  • Did my contacts move? A refresh of people you already have. Salesfinity re-reads each contact’s current title and company and flags the ones that no longer match, instead of silently overwriting your data.

Steps

1

Find people new in seat

New-in-seat is a native filter, so the list is built from tenure data rather than guessed.
2

Re-check a list you already have

Load the list first, then ask for the refresh. It costs no phone or email credits.
The companion reports something like “4 people may have changed jobs — review?” A new employer that contradicts what you have is flagged, not applied, so you decide whether to update the contact, keep it, or remove it.
3

Act on the movers

The second prompt is a normal people search scoped to the old employer, which is how you keep the account while following the champion.
4

Make it a routine

Open Routines and create one. Give it a name and paste the instruction below as the prompt, choose a weekly schedule in your timezone, and set the write mode to require approval so nothing changes without you. Run the test run once, answer anything it asks, and activate it.
Each week the run lands in your routine inbox. If you later allow writes, the routine can also update the contacts and add the movers to a “Followed champions” list.

What happens behind the scenes

A re-check reads each contact’s current profile through Salesfinity’s data network, keyed by LinkedIn URL. A value that agrees with the contact’s known employer is applied; a value that contradicts it is held back and reported. A routine runs the same conversation on a schedule with no one at the keyboard; its write mode decides whether the run may change records, must ask you first, or is read-only.
