By the end of this page, the Salesfinity panel will be open next to your work and ready to dial. You install it once per Chrome profile, and it signs in with your normal Salesfinity login. Before you start: you need a Salesfinity account, Google Chrome on a desktop computer, and at least one Salesfinity caller ID assigned to you. To use the CRM buttons, your team also needs Salesforce or HubSpot connected in Salesfinity.

Get Salesfinity in the Chrome Web Store

Free to install. It works with your existing Salesfinity account.

Set it up

1

Add the extension to Chrome

Open the Salesfinity listing in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Confirm when Chrome asks. The listing is named Salesfinity.
2

Pin it to your toolbar

Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of the address bar, then click the pin next to Salesfinity. Now the panel is always one click away.
3

Sign in to Salesfinity

Open web.salesfinity.co in a normal tab and log in, the same way you always do. Leave the tab open or close it, either works. The extension uses your existing session. There is no separate password. If the panel says Sign in to Salesfinity, click Open Salesfinity and log in there.
4

Open the panel

Click the Salesfinity icon in the toolbar, or press Alt+Shift+D (Option+Shift+D on a Mac). The panel opens on the right. You should see your name under Settings › Account.
5

Allow your microphone

The first time you click Call, the panel asks you to Enable microphone. A small page opens called Microphone access. Click Allow microphone, then allow it in Chrome’s prompt. The page closes itself and shows Microphone allowed. You only do this once.
6

Make a test call

On a page with no CRM record, the panel shows Call anyone. Type your own mobile number, check the caller ID under the keypad, and click Call. When it ends, pick a Disposition and click Save call, or click Skip.
You are done when the panel shows your name in Settings, the microphone status reads Granted, and your test call rings your phone.

Choose your call settings

Open the gear icon in the panel to see Settings. Your choices are saved in this Chrome profile.
Recording laws differ by place, and some require consent from everyone on the call. Follow your company’s recording policy, and turn Record calls off if you are not sure.

Keyboard shortcuts

These work anywhere in Chrome once the extension is installed. On a CRM record, single keys work inside the panel too: C to call, E to email and S to add to a sequence.
If a shortcut does nothing, another extension may already use it. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts in the address bar and set your own keys for Salesfinity.

What the extension can access

Chrome shows a permissions list when you install. Here is what each part is for, in plain words.
Adds the Call, Email and Sequence buttons to contact and lead records, and reads the record ID from the page address so the panel shows the right person.
Used only to catch clicks on phone links (tel: links), so they open in Salesfinity instead of another calling app. It does not read the rest of the page.
Runs the LinkedIn inbox in the panel. It reads and sends your own messages, using the LinkedIn session you are already signed in to.
The microphone carries your voice on calls. The right-click menu adds one item, Call ”…” with Salesfinity, when you select text. A notification appears only when a selection has no phone number in it.
