Record a call and Salesfinity turns it into a transcript you can search, replay and comment on. That makes it easy to coach a rep, share a great call, or check what a prospect really said.
Call recording, transcripts and comments are available on every plan. Call recording is subject to the terms you accept when you turn it on, and to the recording laws where you and your prospects are.

Turn on call recording

1

Open your dialer preferences

On the Dialer page, click Preferences.
2

Switch on recording

Turn on Call Recording (Terms Apply).
3

Pick what to record

Under Recording Track, choose Both sides to record you and the prospect, or One Side (SDR) to record only your side.
Admins can set recording for the whole team in Settings › People. In the Record calls column, pick Optional, Mandatory or Off for each member. The Recording track column can lock which side is recorded. A locked setting shows as grayed out in the rep’s preferences.
Choose Both sides if you want call scoring and Nurture AI to work well. They read the transcript, and a one-sided transcript misses everything the prospect said.

Get the transcript

You don’t need to do anything. When a recorded call ends, Salesfinity transcribes it in the background and splits it into turns for you and the prospect, each with a timestamp. To read it, open the call from Call history and pick the Transcript tab.
  • Type in Search transcript… to find a word. Use the arrows to jump between matches.
  • Click a line to play the recording from that moment.

Add an AI call summary to your notes

While you log a call in the dialer, click Generate next to the call note. Salesfinity writes a short summary from the transcript and adds it below anything you already typed. It never replaces your own notes. To get a summary on every call, turn on Automatic AI Summary in Preferences. Admins can set it for the team in the Automatic AI summary column under Settings › People.
The button reads Waiting for transcript until the transcript is ready. Calls that weren’t recorded don’t get a summary.

Comment on a moment

Comments keep coaching next to the words it is about.
1

Find the moment

Open the Transcript tab and hover over the line you want to talk about.
2

Click Comment on this moment, type your note, and post it. Type @ and a name to mention a teammate.
3

Your teammate gets notified

The rep who made the call gets an in-app notification, and so does anyone you mention. The notification opens the recording at that exact second.
Comments also show as markers on the recording’s timeline. The Comments tab lists them all, and you can reply to a comment to keep the thread together. You can also leave a general comment on the whole call from the Comments tab.

Share a call outside your team

Click the share icon on the recording player in Call details. Then click Create link. Anyone with that link can view the call without a Salesfinity account. To stop sharing, open the same dialog and revoke the link. The old link stops working right away and can’t be restored. Sharing again creates a new link.
A share link works for anyone who has it. Only share calls you are allowed to share, and revoke the link when you’re done.
